About the AFDA Knowledge Center

The AFDA Knowledge Center was created by the American Foot Drop Association to help bridge the gap between diagnosis and daily life.

It is a growing resource for people living with foot drop, caregivers, families, healthcare professionals, and advocates.

The Knowledge Center combines researched information with real life experiences from the foot drop community. Our goal is to provide practical information about diagnosis, daily living, mobility, braces and equipment, healthcare, pain, emotional health, caregiving, and other challenges connected to foot drop.

Community experiences are identified as personal experiences and are not presented as medical advice.

AFDA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to education, advocacy, awareness, support, and practical resources for people affected by foot drop.
